LITE-DECKŪ
is a
lightweight Polystyrene forming system which produces continuous,
load-bearing joists every 24-inches. The form sections of
LiteDeck feature
built-in steel stiffeners which double as permanent metal furring
strips. Individual sections interlock into a sturdy forming
deck. Conventional, temporary shoring every 6-8 feet support
the forms during concrete placement.
With rebar added, standard concrete mixes
are placed into the joist channels and a 2-4 inch cover over the entire form. Joist
depths of 6-16 inches allow for clear, unsupported spans of 30 feet or more. A wide
variety of standard flooring or roofing finishes can be added to the conrete cover.
LITE-DECK is the logical choice to top off the walls of and high-efficiency concrete
structure.

apartment building. The form's nominal R-30 insulating value
creates a high-efficiency envelope of the entire structure.

LITE-DECK can also be used in sloped or gabled roof configurations to create open,
vaulted, room designs. Concrete surfaces can be sealed and waterproofed on the
interior or exterior applications. In-floor heating systems, electrical / plumbing
lines can be concealed flush with the surface of the insulating form. Drywall or
other finishes are conveniently anchored to continuous steel stiffeners, located every
24".

In order to achieve maximum clear spans, LITE-DECK, can be used in conjunction with a wide
variety of pre-engineered roof truss systems sloped or flat insulated concrete roofs
provide the maximum in energy efficiency and protection fro any commercial, industrial, or
agri-business structure. Can be engineered to perform in high velocity wind zones or
snow load regions.
