In addition to a convenient work platform, Scaffold Brackets quickly anchor the diagonal braces for the form.

In buildings where people normally work, reside or assemble, Expanded Polystyrene concrete forms must be fully protected from the interior of the building by not less than 1/2" gypsum board (drywall) or the equivalent.

Fold-Form system fills the same role as an old-fashioned forming system...containing cast-in-place concrete to produce fully engineered, monolithic concrete walls.
When the end user follows the guidelines on assembly, bracing and concrete placement, a high-quality concrete structure will result. Individual workmanship and attention to detail will, in the end, dictate the degree of accuracy for the project.

Building Block...the Fold-Formâ building system starts with a pre-assembled, interlocking "building block" concrete form section. The walls of the section consists of high-quality EPS rigid insulation. By combining the sections with a Fold-Formâ accessory package, builders assemble a wide variety of structures. With assembly and bracing completed, the forms are filled with concrete. Unlike ordinary concrete forms, the insulating Fold-Formâ walls stay in place...the result is a solid, reinforced concrete wall which is automatically insulated.

Accessory Package...accessories include pre-trimmed corner kits (90-degree corners), plastic hardware for custom corners, T-intersections and a variety of specialized shapes. The patented hardware designs simplify project set-up time and cuts special form bracing to a minimum.

Steel In-Wall bracing is a unique Fold-Formâ accessory which assures the builder of precise, accurate walls. This welded-wire girder is placed inside the form during final assembly and replaces most of the bracing associated with concrete forms.

Nylon Scaffold Brackets allow the builder to have an adjustable, built-in work platform during form set-up.

Engineering and Designing Fold-Form Structures

Engineering and designing for any Fold-Formâ structure must be guided by local building codes for reinforced concrete construction as well as the design parameters established by ACI (American Concrete Institute) and PCA (Portland Cement Association). Guidelines for proper Fold-Formâ assembly, bracing, concrete placement and finishing are supplied by Fold-Formâ LC and authorized Fold-Formâ representatives and suppliers
